Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a HR Rewards and Compensation Administrator:

 

As a Liberty Military Housing HR Rewards and Compensation Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and oversight of the company’s compensation programs, including base pay, merit increases, promotions, wage adjustments, and bonus programs. This role conducts market surveys, maintains competitive and equitable pay structures, and ensures consistency and alignment across regions and departments. The role also oversees education reimbursement programs and supports the development and facilitation of HR and Payroll related training. This position works collaboratively with leadership to align compensation strategies with business objectives and market standards.

 

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

Compensation Administration

  • Manage and administer compensation processes for new hires, internal promotions, merit increases, and wage adjustments in coordination with HR Business P
  • Partners and department leadership.
  • Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness in compensation practices.
    Review and approve compensation changes in Workday HCM to ensure alignment with compensation policies and guidelines.

Market Analysis & Pay Structure Management

  • Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking to assess the competitiveness of pay ranges across all departments and regions.
  • Analyze compensation data to support the development and maintenance of salary ranges and pay grades.
    Provide recommendations for pay adjustments and structure changes based on market trends and business needs.

Bonus & Incentive Programs

  • Administer and process company bonus and incentive programs in coordination with Payroll and Finance.
    Ensure accuracy and timeliness of bonus calculations, documentation, and disbursements.
    Maintain records and metrics related to program participation and performance.

Professional Development Reimbursement Program

  • Oversee administration of the Professional Development reimbursement program, including application review, eligibility tracking, and reimbursement processing.
    Communicate program guidelines and respond to employee inquiries.
    Monitor budget usage and report on program outcomes.

Training & Development Support

  • Assist with the facilitation of HR and Payroll training sessions for employees, managers, and internal HR staff.
    Assist in developing training materials and process documentation for HR and Payroll functions.
    Identify opportunities for process improvement and knowledge gaps and recommend training solutions.

Qualifications

What You Need for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Compensation and Benefits Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits administration.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and payroll processing software.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to think strategically about compensation and benefits programs.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Ability to travel 20-35% of time.
