Compensation Analyst

The Provider Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of the provider compensation programs. This role ensures alignment with Inspire Health’s mission, clinical priorities, and financial objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory and legal standards. The Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, compensation strategy, governance, and market competitiveness.


JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Support the design, implementation, and management of physician compensation models.
  • Support the annual compensation planning cycle, including market analysis, benchmarking, and internal equity reviews.
  • Provide support on compensation strategy and governance.
  • Assist with compensation analytics, incentive plan review processes, and policy procedure development.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure competitive and compliant compensation practices.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Compliance, and Clinical Operations to support compensation initiatives.
  • Support financial management practices while adhering to all applicable federal and state regulatory requirements. 
  • Other duties related to job function, including tasks of a similar scope and responsibility, as those listed above. 


Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.


Experience

  • Two or more (2+) years of progressive experience in physician compensation or related compensation field, preferably within a provider group environment.



PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in physician compensation design, healthcare finance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Proficiency in compensation modeling tools, data visualization platforms, benchmarking, and HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with providers and leadership.

Physical Requirements:

  • Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder. Some bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 pounds.


Equipment Operated:

  • Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.


Work Environment:

  • Position in a well-lit, well-ventilated office environment. Frequent contact with a variety of people.
