The SEARHC Compensation Analyst is responsible for conducting comprehensive compensation analyses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for conducting comprehensive compensation analyses, ensuring accuracy, alignment with organizational and regulatory standards and industry benchmarks. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex compensation structures to support organizational objectives.Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job
Promote and integrate the SEARHC mission, vision, and values in all aspects of job responsibilities and accountabilities, maintaining a service-oriented and quality-focused culture within SEARHC.
Analyze and develop compensation models comparing against industry and third-party benchmarks and internal standards.
Utilize understanding of compensation methodologies and plans and make thoughtful recommendations on compensation models to align with business objectives.
Partner with System Director, Total Rewards, to ensure fair market value and commercial reasonableness in compliance with applicable regulations.
Conduct internal compensation analysis and assessments.
Develop, enhance, and document processes related to compensation methodologies, compensation review cadence, implementation plans, etc.
Assist System Director, Total Rewards in preparing materials and details for executive-level compensation committee meetings.
Participate in and support strategic planning around compensation plan design to meet organizational objectives.
Provide guidance and interpretation of compensation policies/programs.
Partner with System Director, Total Rewards in discussions and presentation of compensation plan details.
Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders the details of compensation components.
Identify areas of opportunity and partner to design, develop, and implement effective and efficient workflows related to compensation.
Develop compensation reports for various specialties and practices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation data
Prepare regular and ad-hoc compensation reports for leadership and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with federal and state compliance regulations.
Assist System Director, Total Rewards with projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience Required
6+ years of experience in healthcare compensation analysis and healthcare finance.
Knowledge and understanding of healthcare compensation models and methodologies, compensation benchmarking, and associated regulatory requirements.
Experience working with various clinical specialties and environments.

In-depth knowledge of compensation models, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to prioritize assignments and projects in consultation with the System Director, Total Rewards.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex compensation concepts to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SmartSheet, SharePoint, and Better Comp.
Project management experience a plus.
Understanding of Alaskan healthcare market is a plus.
