Asplundh is currently seeking a data driven Sr. Compensation Analystto join our Total Rewards team. Our team is growing, and we need a talented Compensation professional to manage andcurate the survey submission process, collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Field HR with market pricing recommendations, support our multi-faceted bonus program and salary planning process for both our Field and Home Office teams, and serve as thesystem owner for our Compensation Tool. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator,possess superior Excel skills, values collaboration, and is highly detail oriented.
General Duties
Perform the day-to-day administration of the Compensation function including updating bonus documentation, ensuring system data integrity for MarketPay, and provide routine compensation reports and dashboards for leadership review.
Review requisition and promotion requests to determine appropriate market pricings and salary recommendations, gain alignment with managers, and coordinate with Talent Acquisition to ensure our pay decisions are market informed and positioned for competitiveness.
Coordinate and oversee the participation in and the collection and maintenance of salary survey data in MarketPay. Tactfully leverage external market surveys and internal equity analyses to make effective award determinations.
Manage and conduct structuredjob analysis of all new jobsto effectively and accurately capture the FLSA classification. Conduct an annual review of current jobs to ensure classifications are aligned with local and federal guidelines.
Administer the annual Home Office and Field Salary Planning Processes. Coordinate training efforts, and work in partnership with Manager, Compensation to ensure the organizational needs are met. Collaborate with IT to configure and deploy the compensation module within the HCM.
Bonus Process
Helps develop timelines and project plans to ensure all stakeholders are kept aware of responsibilities and deadlines for efficiency and accuracy during the entire cycle.
Calculates and analyzes compensation bonus data and provides quality assurance for data integrity in all bonus processes.Responsible for providing reporting to executive leadership for the duration of the bonus process.
Helps develop written training materials for leadership and leads training sessions for leadership.
Identifies process improvements for all components of the bonus cycle.
Survey Process, Market Pricing and Compensation Offers
Coordinates survey participation, collection, job mapping and maintenance within the MarketPay system.
Coordinates vendor relations and provides all requests and submissions for all surveys held within the survey library.
Coordinates with Talent Acquisition on new hire and promotional offers by providing market pricing for roles and recommendations for compensation offers.
Job Description Responsibilities
Manages all job descriptions across the entire enterprise and ensures alignment between job codes and descriptions for all lines of business. Manages the company’s job description repository.
Leads job description projects including developing new effective and creative approaches.
Provides formal and informal training to HR Business Partners and other partners on job descriptions to increase their compensation knowledge.
Relocation Responsibilities
Administers and maintains the relocation process ensuring timely and accurate relocations.
Works with our relocation vendor topresent estimated costs for each relocation package through Asplundh’s approval process.
Analyzes relocation trends and provides reports on process improvements.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or Accounting 4-6 years of compensation experience or Experience with Compensation Tool Management (i.eMarketPay, PayFactors) strongly preferred
Experience with running fully cycle Salary Planning and Bonus Processes strongly preferred
Successful candidate will demonstrate experience with collaborative partnerships
