Position Summary

 

Join our collaborative HR team in a dynamic organization! We are seeking a Senior Total Rewards Analyst to lead compensation initiatives, manage employee benefits programs, support payroll operations, and help drive implementation and optimization of HRIS modules for Republic Bank and our ten affiliate companies in the real estate and hospitality industries. This role analyzes, designs, and administers Total Rewards programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and data accuracy.  As part of our HR team, you'll have the chance to enhance your skills, take on new challenges, and advance your career in a supportive and innovative environment with a team that cares about your personal and professional development.

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

As a Senior Total Rewards Analyst, you will report to the Chief People Officer and closely work alongside a dedicated team of Human Resource Professionals supporting a base of 500 employees across the Chicagoland Area:

  • Develop compensation models to support current and competitive salary structures and incentive programs. Utilize external surveys to capture and benchmark market data.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of health and wellness benefit programs, employee leaves, and 401k retirement plans.
  • Partner with benefit brokers and vendors to plan, prepare, communicate, and implement annual medical benefit renewals for Open Enrollment.
  • Manage the company’s 401k retirement plan, including employee enrollments, contribution changes, audits, non-discrimination testing, employer match, and employee education initiatives.
  • Leverage analytical skills and tools to support HR and business leaders in decision-making related to compensation planning and benefit program renewals.
  • Support accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple company codes using the Paycom HCM system. Our employees depend on you!!
  • Interface with various levels from Executive Management to employees in addressing individual and business line needs related to benefit changes, leave management, incentive plans, salary ranges, and other HR, compensation, benefits, or payroll related requests.
  • Actively participate in Human Resources Initiatives that make a difference, with additional exposure to benefits administration.

 

 

 

Who You Are

 

  • Typically requires an Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, HR, Business or a related discipline with a few years of experience with any of the following HR focuses:
    • Compensation Management
    • Employee Benefits Administration
    • HRIS Optimization
    • Payroll Operations
  • A background in IT or Finance is a desirable addition that would enhance the team’s technical and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in daily work.
  • Ability to work and solve problems independently utilizing available resources and tools.
  • Experience with HR systems, employee metrics, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot anomalies and trends.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and project management skills.
  • Flexible mindset and able to effectively prioritize competing priorities while working in an exciting fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to consult and advise internal customers and management as a subject matter expert.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Excellent customer-focused communication skills that include patience, attentiveness, and the general courtesy of treating others as you would like to be treated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-based orientation.
  • Someone with the potential to learn and grow in the field of Human Resources.

 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • 2 to 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis, benefits administration, or HCM/HRIS operations and optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business, or Human Resources is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced technical computer proficiency including Excel and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), preferably Paycom.
  • Demonstrated capability to make strategic improvements to programs that results in improved efficiency and overall utilization.
