Total Rewards Analyst
Richelieu Foods, Inc., a Freiberger Group Company, is a leading supplier of high-quality food products to the private label and food service industries. The company has two manufacturing centers that produce frozen & deli pizza, and pizza crusts.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Total Rewards Analyst to join our growing HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of our Compensation & Benefit programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both compensation and benefit practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of job evaluations and analyses to support compensation decisions and ensure internal equity.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and partner with leaders to understand evolving job requirements.
- Participate in collection, analysis, and interpretation of internal and external compensation data. Benchmark jobs against market survey data to inform decisions on competitive salary ranges and compensation structures.
- Assist in the administration, implementation, and communication of pay programs, compensation policies, and annual review processes across the organization.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure adherence to compensation philosophy and practices regarding new hire and promotion offers.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of the compensation and benefit modules in HRIS system, troubleshooting issues, loading and maintaining data.
- Participate in third party compensation salary surveys and questionnaires.
- Keep abreast of compensation and benefit related changes to legislation, provide guidance to the business as needed on potential risk and/or financial impact.
- Participate in Total Rewards projects and initiatives, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to best practice development within the department.
- Partners with HR and business leaders, providing guidance, education, and support on Total Rewards related matters and effective communication strategies.
- Support the research and analysis of Total Rewards best practices to inform the development of comprehensive Total Rewards policies and procedures, at times drafting, reviewing and updating policies related to Total Rewards.
- Maintain data in HR systems to ensure integrity and compliance, conduct audits and make associated corrections as appropriate. Prepare and distribute standard and ad-hoc total rewards reports for internal and external sources.
- Provide back-up support for Payroll & Benefit Analyst for time off.
- Provide support on other HR initiatives as needed
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of benefits compliance including FMLA, ADA, ERISA, and ACA.
- Knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methods, and relevant regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time.
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or progress toward certification preferred
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in compensation, benefits or total rewards analysis
- Experience working with compensation survey tools, and compensation software.
Universal Pay Verbiage:
The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $75,000 and $90,000. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus. Benefits for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, 401K with company match, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.
