What you'll do:
As Total Rewards Analyst you’ll be responsible to support the design, implementation, and administration of our compensation, incentives, and benefits programs. This role will play a key part in ensuring our total rewards offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals and talent strategy.
May participate in the following activities as business needs dictate:
Compensation
- Assist with annual compensation planning exercises (merit, bonus LTIP, salary structure updates), policy and guideline interpretation.
- Prepare new hire and internal job change pay recommendations.
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide guidance on offers, promotions, and compensation decisions.
Sales/Business Incentives
- Process incentive compensation payment requests, review evidence and information regarding disputed eligibility and calculation errors and communicate plan details to new employees.
- Provide input in the design and modeling of incentive compensation plans.
- Contribute to the development of software and processes for eligibility and payment calculation.
- Ensure incentive payment submissions comply with bank policies and procedures, and that documentation is accurate and properly maintained.
- Prepare and analyze monthly reports. Assist in investigating and documenting unusual items.
Benefits
- Support benefits administration (health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, disability insurance, wellness) including vendor management, open enrollment, and employee communications.
- Process and track leave requests under FMLA, ADA, and other applicable state and local laws. Advise employees and managers on leave policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Provide guidance and counsel to employees, HRIS representatives on the requirements and provisions of benefit programs and assist with the resolution of potential problems including hand off to vendors.
Across All Areas
- Monitor and approve tickets in the Workday system in accordance with SLAs.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor total rewards trends, costs, and effectiveness.
- Research current trends and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
- Participate in compensation and benefits surveys and benchmarking studies.
- Serve as liaison to many key stakeholders, including Executive Management, Risk and Compliance, HR Business Partners, Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure proper total rewards plan designs, delivery, execution, analysis and reporting.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Strong interpersonal and partnering skills to facilitate effective working relationships.
- Ability to take initiative, drive project work, and complete work within established deadlines.
- Prior experience with Workday and Varicent incentive compensation platform preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, intermediate working fluency in Excel, SQL, or Visio preferred.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
- Entry level to Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Certified Compensation or Benefits Professional or World at Work Coursework preferred.
