Job Summary:

The Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of all compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that our total rewards strategy is competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's overall business objectives, attracting and retaining top talent. The manager will analyze market data, ensure compliance with regulations, and communicate programs effectively to employees.


Responsibilities:

Honor Commitments:

  • Program Administration: Administer all compensation programs and benefits programs, including enrollment, claims, and vendor management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compliance: Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the total rewards budget, adhering to constraints.
  • Job Evaluation: Participate in job evaluation and salary structure maintenance, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, fairness, and transparency.
  • Partnership: Collaborate with HR business partners, legal, and finance teams to integrate and execute total rewards initiatives, building strong relationships for shared goals.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • HRIS Management: Optimize total rewards processes using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).

  • Communication & Education: Educate employees on total rewards programs and changes, empowering them with knowledge about benefits and growth.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements, fostering data-driven decisions.

Create Positive Experiences:

  • Program Administration: Oversee all benefits programs, from enrollment to claims resolution and vendor management, ensuring positive employee experiences through seamless administrative processes.
  • Communication & Education: Develop and deliver clear communications to educate employees on total rewards programs, policies, and changes, making complex information accessible and empathetic.
  • Partnership: Collaborate with HR, legal, and finance to integrate and execute total rewards initiatives, ensuring positive experiences through effective teamwork.

Demonstrate Good Stewardship:

  • Strategy & Design: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive total rewards programs (base pay, incentives, health/welfare, retirement, recognition), ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Market Competitiveness: Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits, demonstrating cost-effective solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA), mitigating risks.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the total rewards budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximum value.
  • Job Evaluation: Participate in job evaluation and salary structure maintenance, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness, demonstrating good stewardship of talent.
  • HRIS Management: Leverage HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors) to manage and optimize total rewards processes, maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Partnership: Collaborate with HR business partners, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient execution of total rewards initiatives.

Other Duties as Assigned:

  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
  • 5 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of total rewards principles, theories, and practices, including current trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems, compensation software, and benefits administration platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
